Happy Halloween, Dolls!
It's our favorite time of year when anyone and everyone is inspired and encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters through out history.
Being that pinup style and magic are the two things that inspire the Kiss or Kill the most its not hard to guess what our Halloween costumes were this year! We introduce to you our Pinup Witch Costume; Showgirl Witchery!
To brew up the perfect pinup meets witch costumes Samantha wanted to stick with classic witch hats, fishnets, and an all black color pallet. To make this look pop she paired the matte black body suits with sheer frothy robes, patent heels, and violet lace chokers. Last but not least, of course what is any witch with out her custom made broom and matching sparking ring talisman ?
Witches can be seen in many different ways. Often times they have been depicted as old hags with warts and droopy eyes. Other times as green skinned ghouls, and somewhere in between all of these stereotypes and cliches you find a witch or two that looks a little different from these typical witches. Since the whole idea behind this shoot was to be pin up styled witches Veronica decided to take a more glamorous approach to this makeup look with a traditional pinup makeup played up with a pop of purple and green glitter under the eyes and the traditional pinup red lips were nixed for ghoulish purple lips. The perfect shade of purple for the lips was none other than the striking Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade "L.U.V"
The hair was kept relatively simple with old Hollywood glamour styled waves since these witches were wearing their trademark pointed hats that Veronica embellished with witchy accents.
