Vamporize

It’s the most magical time of the year:
Halloween!
We are so excited to start introducing to you our DIY costume ideas! Of course these looks are just to get your ghoul juices started, think of these ideas as a template for you to go off of to create your own spooky masterpiece of a costume.
Our First and foremost costume is our favorite mythical folklore creature, the Vampire! We decided to go with a more Anne Rice sort of vampire, simple and elegant. I love the thought of a vampire waking up after hundreds of years of slumber getting up and ready to go slink about town after centuries. They have no idea what is “trending” but they are always ridiculously dressed to kill with their lavish textiles adorned with every piece of jewelry they own.

So here is how you can create that avant-garde and blasé look of a blood thirsty Vampire for your Halloween festivities this year:

Interview With The Vampire

Why hello there my fangtastical frightful friends! Welcome to the first installment of our All Hallows Eve series! Today I will be showing you all how to transform yourselves into a simple, sultry, blood sucking vampire! This look is basic, classic, effective, and great for those who are in a last minute party pinch! To be honest it really isn't Halloween for me if I don't watch a good Vampire film. So even if you aren't going to be one this year check out a classic vampire film and you may find your self doing a little pre-planning for next year! ;)
Now lets get started!

Introduction to Grunge

Fall fashion is a the most inspiring type of fashion to me, I don’t think there is any coincidence that Veronica and I decided to start a blog just in time to cover all the beautiful trends spilling out from the glossy pages of fashion magazines. For those who don’t live in sunny Southern California, I know some of you must be bored by now having to exchange your floral cotton sundress for pea coats when the warmth of summer disappears. Trust me, this year you can be sure to feel feminine in layers and boots!

The Statement Lip

After looking through all of the popular fall trends on the runway Samantha and myself planned on showing a few different looks of the season. To kick things off I've decided to start out with a look that to me, just embodies fall. I may not actually be a vampire...but I sure like to think I am and nothing entertains this thought quite like a bold vampy lipstick. Which is why I will be showing you all how to conquer a majestic, beautiful, and relatively simple look that I like to call the "Statement Lip". This look focuses on the lips so I like to keep the rest of the face fairly simple. Which is what makes this a great choice for even the busiest of women. Enough of my blabbing, lets get started on the makeup!
