Welcome back everyone!
This week we wanted to explore elements of the classic Mad Hatter Tea Party with an edgy Kiss or Kill twist! ;)
For the makeup Veronica wanted to keep with a vibrant color palette but add ingredients of both The Mad Hatter and Alice into the tea pot. She chose to go with a hot pink eye shadow with winged liner that was accented with a stripe of blue which was carried to the lower lash line. Our model Emily had excellent lips so to really make them pop Veronica used a metallic shade of purple with a frosty pink highlight on the center. As for the hair; some 18th century styling was drawn for inspiration with modern adjustments. To finish off the "do" some lovely white flowers were pinned to the back of the head.
For this post Samantha wanted to explore the idea of mixed prints and textures.
She dressed the model in a rose colored brocade party dress and black and white striped blazer. The two patterns complimented each other gracefully for the basis of this shoot. The look was accented with a lace embellishment tied around the waist. Accessory wise Samantha used a clock and a key hole statement necklace as well as bejeweled rings and bracelets.
The shoes are spiked Litas by Jeffrey Campbell, and she added blue velvet ribbons around the ankles for a feminine touch.
Thank you so much to our lovely and patient model Emily. You were a joy to work with and we truly couldn't have brought this look to life without you. Follow this beauty on Instagram, she's a very talented artist! @emareee
