Red, White, Blue's In The Sky

Happy 4th of July to all of you!

The Kiss or Kill is pleased to present to you our "Vintage Pin-up" all American style salute to our day of independence!



Samantha decided to go for an all american vintage look to capture the cute, playful, and sensual iconic look of a pin-up!The top is a a simple red v-neck bodice from Cotton On and the bottoms are a navy blue squart from Forever 21. She thought it was a simple and authentic pairing to mimic that of a classic soldier girl pin-up. As for accessories Samantha picked white satin gloves, pearl chokers, retro vintage earrings, and a a sparkling blue garter to add a sensuous flare.

When Veronica first started planning this makeup and hair design it was quite plain what direction everything would go and what the final look needed to look like. She added a few personal flares to the traditional pin-up look with red glitter pressed on top of the traditional red lips she used MAC's "Russian Red" (the PERFECT red lip shade) and Ben Nye's red glitter. The eyes were done using Too Faced's new "Chocolate Bar" palette, this palette has tons of gorgeous, luxurious shades that compliment the look created beautifully!  The hair was accented with some adorable white roses to glam up the victory roll hair style. Overall this look was very fun to create and bringing the all American vintage vision to life was in our opinion a great success! ;)
