Happy Birthday to The Kiss or Kill!!!

Ghoulish Greetings!
The Kiss or Kill has arrived to your Halloween party with style, flair, and that classic kiss or kill touch! ;)
Wanting to celebrate this special time of year we decided to put together avant garde Halloween costumes with festive makeups to match! We hope you all have a splendid Hallow's eve and that you find some inspiration or delight from our spooky looks!

To create a festive Halloween look Samantha decided to stick with Gothic inspired black and white pieces to contrast with Veronica's vibrant makeup.
Veronica is wearing a Beetlejuice inspired striped peplum dress with a frilly petticoat layered on top for an eccentric edge. Samantha paired the outfit with a Betsey Johnson corset jacket, ripped nylons, and lace up boots.
Samantha is wearing a Betsey Johnson gingham dress with an embroidered waist cincher. She paired the get-up with a floor length crushed velvet cape and Betsey Johnson ankle boots.
Both looks are accented with sparkling costume inspired jewelry.

Eccentricity was a very apparent ingredient when piecing together this shoot. Veronica decided to take that and add symbolic timeless Halloween ingredients into the cauldron of ideas for these makeup designs! For both looks she decided to go with somewhat of a face-paint design to give the illusion of masks while still doing a fun festive makeup. She included varying frightful motifs to each mask including stitches, blood spatter, and delicate swirls of lace. She chose to work with a vibrant color palette of traditional Halloween shades including pumpkin orange, blood red, and twilight purple. The looks were both finished off with red lips and Ghoulish Victorian hairstyles.

October marks one year since the birth of The Kiss or Kill!
Reflecting upon this year we have had the privilege of bringing so many of our creative visions to life. Project after project we have found our minds extending to new places and we constantly push ourselves to make the next shoot better than the one before. Having this blog has truly been an artistic adventure for us that we were lucky enough to embark on together! Thank you to all who have been involved in the building of every shoot we have put together in the past year and to all of you who come back and continue to delve into our blog each time a new post arrives. We truly appreciate every bit of this process. Here's to another year of painting on a kiss and dressing to kill!
